46 Old Reds and their partners enjoyed the annual Fleurieu Peninsula dinner at the McCracken Country Club on Friday evening, 16th March.
Convenor Andrew Jeffery welcomed all present with particular reference to the large party from the metropolitan area. In responding to Judge Peter Brebner’s Toast to The School, Neil Andary, Head of the Preparatory School, used a powerpoint presentation which gave us an insight into the many innovations being introduced into the life and curriculum of the School. David Hassell proposed the Toast to the Association. In response President Graham Burfield outlined some of the activities enjoyed by the members.
In concluding Andrew thanked all those who had contributed to the success of the dinner. After the dinner President Graham conducted a discussion session seeking ideas about the future directions of the dinner. Two possibilities canvassed were reverting back to May and changing the event from a Friday evening dinner to a Sunday lunch.
